A Little Blurb About Web Design to Development

So my client happily emailed me today to finalize on his website layout!

Now my favorite part is coming – taking it from a basic .psd file to an actual working, functional and interactive site. His site will be manageable by him via WordPress. (Thanks gang at WP :>)

So what I’m doing right now is going through my .psd file and “color picking” all the basic colors. I copy & paste the RGB files onto a text file. See here:

Now although you don’t understand my web design shorthand, I’m sure you see my purpose here.

Making my CSS file is going to be twice as fast now. I won’t have to go back & forth between Photoshop and Text Wrangler while designing my website.

Now onto splicing up images and starting my HTML & CSS coding!
